Yn Cheshaght Ghailckagh (Manx Gaelic Society),
which was founded in 1899, is dedicated to the
preservation and promotion of Manx Gaelic, the
native language of the Isle of Man. The society
encourages the study of old Manx Gaelic as well
as its acquisition and use in the modern world.
